Today we have reliable contract performance monitoring, with the identification of problems and failures in an efficient way, an assertive action for solutions and suggestions for improvements. We have managed to reduce the risk of failures by 60%, according to data from the latest QMS audits, in the correct and complete application, creating an organizational culture focused on Quality, raising user and manager awareness, in addition to assistance in maintaining ISO 9001 certification.

Structure and automation
Comau sought to monitor processes and contracts at all stages through a structured and automated method. Business unit management, processes and performance information were performed in spreadsheets and communication was done over e-mail. The compilation of information, analysis and results on the performance of services took, on average, 7 days to be generated. The more than 50 contracts implemented in 12 Brazilian states, generated information using 25 tools/sheets per location, in a total of 500 documents per month.
Secure information
Softexpert Excellence Suite was made available to 220 users from various areas, with different levels of security and management. The servers are containerized using Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) running Linux with autoscaling. The production and test environments are separated into different EKS clusters.
Through the tool, it is possible to access dynamic portals, where there is relevant information for each level, and can even be connected through smartphones. Amazon RDS was used as a database-as-a-service, providing scalability and security. The database instances run in a private, isolated subnetwork with data-at-rest encryption using KMS keys. Additionally, all data in transit between our application and database servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
The project included the implementation of these components: Audit, Process, Incident, Form, Problem, Performance, Document, Risk, Survey and Action Plan.
Results
With the SoftExpert solution, Comau has increased the efficiency and control of its operation, in addition to reducing the risk of failures. The tool also helps maintain ISO 9001 certification.
