Process automation 

Vigia Group was looking for a tool to help manage competencies and processes. According to the company’s General Director, Francisco Meillon Orozco, the main challenge was finding an innovative system focused on leadership management.

Centralized audits

All of the company’s operations are managed through SoftExpert EQM, which supports the completion of 600 audits annually. The implementation project includes components such as Document, Action Plan, Audit, Requirement, Competence, Training, and Physical File, which are used across all business units within the group.

“When we saw the demonstration of the components, we realized that SoftExpert’s solution was the only one that gathered the necessary features to strengthen the focus on competence for our executives, with different modules for all work areas—essentially, we would have everything in one system,” emphasizes Francisco Meillon Orozco.

All-in-one

One of the main benefits of automating processes is the control of regulations and audits. “We already have 284 guidelines in the system that govern all of the company’s operations, and we conduct about 600 audits each year based on these regulations to ensure operational standards. Through the solution, we send qualifications to our Business Intelligence department to provide timely feedback to the team,” he states.

In addition to supporting the improvement of competencies and the control of regulatory and audit processes, the solution aids in managing employee training. “We’ve already developed and implemented four courses. The goal is to have training for all the technical skills needed within the group. Today, we have a team, supported by internal and external experts, developing the courses,” he adds.

According to Francisco Meillon Orozco, now all of the group’s contracts, actions, and important documents are securely stored in the system, improving communication and teamwork across all departments and functional areas.
